The Science and Technology of Beekeeping

Modern science has permitted us to cultivate a food product that works better than sugar and is generally available, but the problem is the production part is seasonal unfortunately. That is due to the fact that bees are less active in the cold months and that may slow production down till around late March early Apr when the flowers officially bloom which makes pollen the bounteous for bees to eat. Science is a puzzle for bees because in a lot of ways they resemble humans by how they sense changes in weather, environment and the organization of how they live seems like a lot like humans.

The average queen when she's paired can turn out 2k eggs a day in the spring run and fundamentally live for another 2 years and then a new Queen is reared to take over the colony.

Essentially Queen bees have the monumental task of keeping the population fresh and all colonies are not the same since different species of bees will live matching to one another, but they might have a different mating pattern and schedule. Humans are about right there, but we've got a different way of mating which is done when we want to it not when the season or weather changes. Queens are identified by their buzzing sound, which is distinct to the sound that drones and employee bees make when they communicate with one another.

The Queen's hum is more high pitched and she is consistently encircled with drones and employees who give their lives to offer protection to the queen and are known to swarm constantly which sort of falls in the wayside of the way the secret service react when the president's security is compromised and breached they're going to attack when they feel threatened and their duty is to offer protection to the queen at all costs the way the president has round the clock security from the secret service.

That is how close knit a colony of bees are and that is the poser many beekeepers are attempting to learn and match with the character of humans and their interplay with one another. Bees are like one giant family since the bulk of a hive is female, but just one will make it as the Queen who rules over the colony to keep the following spawn of offspring to continue the lineage of the colony.

This is what makes technology and science fascinating for bees and the keepers who maintain their houses to trot out safeguarding and nurturing an engaging creature that folks are really misunderstanding a lot. Bees are like folks except they fly and reproduce enough offspring to keep going non-stop for 2-3 years.
